If an immigration judge orders you deported you still have options.
Appealing Deportation Orders – You can appeal your case to the Board of Immigration Appeals to have them review the judge’s decision. If the Board decides the judge made a mistake at some point in your case then your case be reversed or sent back to court so that any mistake may be remedied. If the Board agrees with the judge and upholds your deportation order then you may make a further appeal of the Board’s decision in Federal Circuit Court.
It is important that you preserve your case for appeal. The right to appeal is one of the fundamental protections you are entitled to under U.S. immigration law.
